about
Lately I've been really feeling the absence of performing music live. Since that's not an option right now (cough cough COVID cough cough that cough wan't a COVID cough just a blame cough.. cough cough) I decided to do a live studio performance of a new song I'm working on called "Let You Lie". Having made the song in the Akai Force, I let the machine handle the band stuff and I handled the live vocals and guitar. Hope you enjoy.
I’ll Let You Lie

VERSE 1
Love is not a coat just to keep you warm from the cold
It’s shelter to keep you safe from the storm
And baby I have been on my own for way too long and I…
Still see your face everywhere I go
I see your shape like the soaking silhouette
In the bed you left when her hair was wet
I can still hear your songs playing all night long but I…
VERSE 2
I know that tomorrows gonna feel wrong
Like the growth I’ve made is suddenly all gone
Cause getting over you was the hardest thing I’ve had to do
But baby let’s undo it all
CHORUS
Won’t love you till the day you die
I’ll love you one lie at a time
One day I’ll open my eyes
‘Till then I’ll let you lie
You’re crossing your fingers tonight
When I look into your eyes
I know tomorrow’s goodbye
‘Till then I’ll let you lie
